I’m Bill Swan – freelance writer, blogger, and author.
I once wrote a “book” about a kid and his pet dinosaur back in I think 3rd grade. It was on four or five “pages” of cardboard backing from something, tied together with string. I was rather proud of that “book”. That, was my first attempt at writing something. And I pretty much haven’t stopped since.
Since then (jumping ahead a few decades here), I’ve written community news and feature stories for a couple of local newspapers; created blog posts and content marketing pieces for clients; and have written hundreds of articles for various sites along a freelance career which began officially in 2008.
Atlantic Publishing published “The Complete Guide to Managing Your Parents’ Finances When They Cannot” in 2009.
The current focus of my freelance writer life is on content marketing, blogging and books. Niches that I write in include pets (dogs and cats mostly), personal and small business finances, self-sufficiency and self-reliance. Although I can do business related topics and affiliate marketing pieces as well.
